Keystone-Kupplung RJ-45 unshielded CAT6 ACT SD6009

The ACT Keystone Coupler RJ-45 unshielded CAT6 SD6009 provides a compact inline connection between two Ethernet cables using standard RJ‑45 jacks. Designed for unshielded twisted pair (UTP) CAT6 cabling, the white keystone-style module fits into standard wall plates and patch panel inserts to create a tidy, low-profile network pass-through suitable for residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

This keystone coupler offers a simple, tool-free way to extend or join network runs while maintaining CAT6 performance characteristics. Its keystone form factor enables flexible mounting in faceplates or surface-mount boxes, and the white finish helps it integrate visually with common wall outlets. The unshielded design reduces complexity for UTP installations and supports high-speed data transmission for typical Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet runs in homes and small offices
• Temporary or permanent network connections between two patch cables
• Integration into standard keystone wall plates and patch panels
• Areas where a low-profile, unobtrusive RJ‑45 pass-through is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ‑45 jack to RJ‑45 jack
• Cabling category: Unshielded CAT6 (suitable for UTP CAT6 cable)
• Form factor: Keystone module compatible with standard faceplates
• Color: White
• Typical applications: Ethernet data up to CAT6 performance levels
• Mounting: Snap-in keystone installation for wall plates and patch panels

How to use

Insert the keystone coupler into a compatible wall plate or surface-mount box by pressing the module into the keystone opening until it snaps into place. Connect two RJ‑45 terminated Ethernet cables by plugging them into each side of the coupler until the connectors click. Ensure cables are properly seated to maintain signal integrity. Use in-line as a temporary extension or as a fixed pass-through within a structured cabling outlet.

Recommendations

For consistent CAT6 performance, pair the coupler with certified CAT6 UTP cables and avoid excessive cable bending near the connection. Do not use the unshielded coupler in environments requiring shielded cabling or where electromagnetic interference could affect signal quality. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the module if physical wear is observed.
