Μονάδα Keystone Digitus CAT 8.1 RJ-45 θωρακισμένο επίπεδο λευκό

The DIGITUS® DN-93816 is a shielded CAT 8.1 keystone module with tool-free mounting connection, designed for high-speed 25/40GBase-T transmission in data centre Top-of-Rack (ToR) and Middle-of-Row (MoR) cabling. It supports permanent link distances up to 24 m and channel link distances up to 30 m, and its compact form factor allows installation of 24 modules in a 483 mm (19") 1U panel. The module complies with Category 8.1 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, delivering reliable, high-frequency network connectivity up to 2000 MHz.

Advantages

The shielded design reduces electromagnetic interference and improves signal integrity for 25/40GBase-T connections. Tool-free mounting connection simplifies installation and reduces setup time. Compact keystone format enables high-density deployment in 1U 19" panels, making it suitable for data centre rack environments. Compliance with Category 8.1 and ISO/IEC 11801 ensures compatibility with modern cabling infrastructures.

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 8.1 / ISO/IEC 11801
• Transmission: 25/40GBase-T
• Frequency: 2000 MHz
• Cable compatibility: AWG 22/1 - 26/7
• Mounting: Tool-free keystone module
• Permanent link distance: up to 24 m
• Channel link distance: up to 30 m
• Panel density: 24 units in 483 mm (19") 1U

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible 19" 1U panel cutout and secure it using the tool-free mounting mechanism. Terminate the appropriate AWG 22/1 to 26/7 cables according to the wiring colour code and ensure proper shielding continuity. Connect the panel to your network switches for 25/40GBase-T links, observing the specified permanent link and channel link distances to maintain signal performance. Verify connections and run certification tests if required.

Recommendations

Use shielded cabling and maintain proper grounding to preserve the module's EMI performance. For maximum reliability in data centre deployments, keep permanent links within 24 m and channel links within 30 m, and perform channel certification after installation.
