The Lanberg KSF5-3000 keystone module features a flat construction in black and stainless steel finish and includes an RJ45 feed‑thru connector. It is suitable for installation in surface and flush‑mounted keystone boxes, for filling blank slots in 10" and 19" modular patch panels, or for connecting two cables terminated with male RJ45 (8P8C) plugs.

Advantages

The compact, flat design saves space in keystone boxes and patch panels while the feed‑thru RJ45 port allows direct pass‑through connections. The metal and black finish provides a neutral appearance that fits standard server room and office equipment. Supplied as a single module, it is compatible with common keystone openings and supports quick installation and replacement.

Suitable for

• Surface and flush keystone boxes
• 10" and 19" modular patch panels
• Temporary or permanent cable pass‑throughs using RJ45 male‑terminated cables

How to use

Insert the KSF5-3000 module into a compatible keystone opening in a surface or flush box or into a blank slot of a 10"/19" modular patch panel until it snaps into place. Connect male RJ45 (8P8C) terminated cables into the module's feed‑thru port to pass the connection through or to join two pre‑terminated cables. Ensure connections are fully seated and, if required, label the patch panel or module location for identification.

Recommendations

Use the module in standard keystone cutouts and modular panels; avoid forcing the module into incompatible housings. For best performance, use shielded or unshielded RJ45 cables that meet your network category requirements and verify cable termination quality before deployment.
