Δορυφορικός πολυδιακόπτης Kathrein EXR 1512 Γκρι 12 έξοδοι 4 είσοδοι Sat

The Kathrein EXR 1512 is a satellite multiswitch that distributes signals from up to four satellite inputs to twelve independent outputs. It supports a wide frequency range from 47 to 862 MHz, uses F-connectors and includes an integrated 18 V / 550 mA power supply for connected LNBs. The unit is designed for residential and small commercial installations where stable multisatellite distribution is required and comes in a compact grey housing.

Advantages

The multiswitch provides 12 outputs allowing simultaneous connection of multiple receivers or set-top boxes, while four satellite inputs accommodate different LNB feeds or polarisation bands. Its wide frequency coverage (47–862 MHz) ensures compatibility with common satellite and terrestrial signals. The integrated 18 V/550 mA PSU simplifies installation by powering LNBs, and the use of F-connectors ensures standardized, low-loss connections. The device is lightweight (approx. 1 kg) and has a compact form factor suitable for distribution cabinets or wall mounting.

How to use

Mount the multiswitch in a dry, ventilated location or inside a distribution cabinet. Connect the four satellite inputs from the LNB outputs using quality coaxial cables and F-connectors. Connect receivers to the twelve output ports. Ensure mains power (198–253 V AC) is available and switch on the device so the integrated 18 V/550 mA supply can power the LNBs. Verify signal levels at each receiver and adjust cabling or amplification if required.

Recommendations

Use short, high-quality coaxial cables and properly tightened F-connectors to minimise signal loss. Keep the multiswitch away from strong heat sources and moisture. For long cable runs or multiple splitters, check signal levels and consider use of inline amplifiers if signal degradation is observed.
