Dexlan Καλώδιο δικτύου 858711 3 m Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45

The Dexlan networking cable 858711 3 m Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 is a 3-meter Ethernet cable compliant with the Cat6a standard, featuring S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed to support high-speed data transmission and improved protection against electromagnetic interference, this cable is suitable for wired connections between routers, switches, computers and other Ethernet-enabled devices in home and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides both overall foil shielding and individually shielded twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Cat6a specification enables reliable performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over shorter runs and improved signal integrity compared with lower categories. The 3 m length balances reach and signal quality for typical desk-to-switch or room-to-room connections, while the standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with network equipment.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or network device and the other connector into the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until you hear a click to confirm a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, crushing or proximity to strong electromagnetic sources. For installation in racks or structured cabling systems, use appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for runs up to a few meters where 10 Gbps is required or where additional immunity to interference is beneficial. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to unshielded mains wiring; if crossing is necessary, do so at a right angle. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket is compromised.
