Microconnect SFTP7015Y Καλώδιο δικτύου κίτρινο 1,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP7015Y is a 1.5 m networking cable engineered to meet Cat7 performance. It uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide a stable wired connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers, patch panels or wall outlets. The cable is suitable for small office, home network and entertainment setups and is backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and minimizes crosstalk, supporting reliable high-frequency transmission. The cable is tested up to 600 MHz according to Cat7 standards while fitted with Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors, ensuring wide device compatibility. A built-in strain relief on the connector protects the plug during tight installations. The yellow jacket provides easy visual identification within cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers or modems to network infrastructure
• Patch panel and keystone jack terminations
• Small office and home network connections
• High-bandwidth streaming and entertainment systems

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 (S/FTP)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 — both ends
• Test frequency: up to 600 MHz (Cat7)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plug firmly into the corresponding port on your network device until it clicks. Use the cable to link switches, routers, modems, patch panels or wall outlets as needed. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tension on the connector strain relief to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable away from strong sources of electrical noise and avoid kinking. Verify connector seating after installation and use Cat7 S/FTP cables for runs requiring enhanced EMI protection and higher-frequency performance.
