Καλώδιο διπλής οπτικής ίνας InLine SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 20m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 20m is a duplex multimode fiber cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It features a 50 µm core diameter and OM3-grade multimode fiber, terminated with SC connectors on both ends to provide full-duplex links for networking equipment. The 20 meter length makes it suitable for intra-rack, inter-rack, and short data center runs where low-loss, high-bandwidth connections are required.

Advantages

OM3 multimode glass and a 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry deliver optimized bandwidth for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth protocols. SC push-pull connectors offer secure mating and straightforward installation in patch panels and active equipment. The duplex configuration supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels, reducing the need for additional cabling. The 20 m length provides flexibility in equipment placement while maintaining low attenuation and consistent signal integrity.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centers and server rooms
• Interconnects between network switches, patch panels, and storage arrays
• Office and enterprise backbone connections over short to moderate distances
• Fiber patching in telecom and network distribution racks

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Core / cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex (push-pull)
• Length: 20 m
• Mode: Multimode duplex for full-duplex transmission
• Designed for: 10 Gigabit Ethernet and compatible high-bandwidth applications

How to use

Ensure connector end-faces are clean before making connections to avoid signal loss or damage to equipment. Route the cable following standard cable management practices, avoiding tight bends that exceed the fiber's minimum bend radius. Insert the SC connectors into compatible SC ports until they click into place. For duplex links, maintain correct orientation for transmit and receive channels as required by the connected devices. When disconnecting, press the SC release mechanism and pull straight out to avoid stressing the fiber.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, protect connector end-faces with dust caps when not in use, and use a fiber inspection pen or microscope to verify cleanliness. For best performance in 10 GbE deployments, adhere to recommended channel designs and total link loss budgets for OM3 multimode fiber.
