Καλώδιο διπλής οπτικής ίνας InLine LC/ST 50/125µm OM4 25m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/ST 50/125µm OM4 25m is a multimode fiber link designed for full-duplex data transmission in structured networks. The cable features LC connector on one end and ST connector on the other, a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and OM4 grading for enhanced bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion. With a 25 metre length it provides a balance between reach and manageability for installation in server rooms, patch panels and network racks.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance by using OM4 fiber, which is optimized for high-speed applications and supports higher bandwidth density compared to lower-grade multimode fibers. The LC connector provides a compact, reliable interface suitable for modern transceivers, while the ST connector offers a bayonet-style connection compatible with legacy equipment. The 25 m length reduces the need for additional patching and keeps cable runs tidy in typical rack and cabinet layouts.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, servers and storage in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panel to active equipment connections in enterprise networks
• Fiber optic test setups and temporary link deployments
• Mixed-equipment environments where LC and ST connector types are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)
• Connectors: LC (one end) to ST (other end)
• Cable length: 25 m
• Polish/type: Multimode, factory-terminated connectors
• Typical applications: High-speed LAN, SAN and data center links

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and tight bundles; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber to prevent increased attenuation. Insert the LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks and secure the ST connector by aligning the bayonet sleeve and twisting until it locks. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to prevent contamination-related signal loss. For patching in racks or panels, label both ends to simplify future maintenance and testing.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 LC/ST duplex cable for short to medium intra-building runs where higher modal bandwidth is required. Clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each use, avoid pulling on the fiber itself when installing, and store coiled without tight loops. For links requiring lower loss or single-mode operation over longer distances, select an appropriate single-mode fiber cable instead.
