Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex InLine SC/ST 50/125µm OM3 5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/ST 50/125µm OM3 5m is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for short- to medium-range high-speed data transmission. It combines SC and ST terminations to connect equipment with differing connector interfaces, using OM3 graded multimode fiber with a 50 µm core diameter. The 5 meter length and duplex construction support simultaneous transmit and receive channels for full-duplex networking in structured cabling, data centers, telecommunication rooms and campus networks.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode fiber cable offers improved bandwidth over lower grade multimode fibers, enabling higher data rates and better performance with laser-optimized equipment. The duplex design provides separate Tx/Rx channels to maintain full-duplex communication. SC and ST connectors allow flexible interfacing with a variety of network devices and patch panels. The cable jacket and connector ferrules are manufactured to provide consistent insertion loss and return loss characteristics for reliable signal integrity.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and transceivers with SC and ST ports
• Data center patching and switch-to-switch links within racks
• Campus backbone segments and horizontal cabling in premises
• Short-distance multimode fiber links requiring full-duplex operation

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector types: SC (one end) and ST (other end) duplex
• Link type: Duplex (two fibers for Tx and Rx)
• Length: 5 m
• Jacket: Multimode patch cable jacket suitable for indoor use

How to use

Identify the SC and ST connector ends and align them with the corresponding ports on your equipment. Insert the SC connector until it clicks into the receptacle and insert the ST connector by aligning the bayonet-style pin and twisting until it locks. Ensure the cable is routed without tight bends and avoid kinking to preserve optical performance. For duplex links, maintain correct polarity so that transmit and receive channels correspond between connected devices.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean with appropriate fiber-cleaning tools if contamination is present. Use gentle cable management practices, keep bend radii within manufacturer guidelines, and avoid placing mechanical stress on the connectors. For critical high-speed applications, verify link performance with an optical power meter or light source and maintain proper polarity in duplex assemblies.
