The EFB Elektronik EC020200188 RJ-45 Cat7 25 m Yellow is a high-performance networking cable designed for structured wiring and high-speed data transmission. This 25 m Cat7 cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable connectivity and reduced interference. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding network environments where signal integrity and visible cabling are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding structure provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal stability over longer distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The 25 m length offers flexibility for routing between network switches, patch panels and end devices without the need for intermediate connectors. The yellow jacket increases visibility for easy identification in cabling bundles and workspaces.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections in home and small office networks
• Connections between network switches, routers and patch panels
• High-bandwidth applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet and multimedia streaming
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring visible cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to the appropriate ports on your network devices, ensuring each connector is fully inserted and the clip secures the plug. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain recommended bend radius to preserve internal pair geometry. For fixed installations, use cable ties or cable management channels to secure the cable and keep it visible if required by the installation environment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable with compatible 10 Gigabit-capable equipment and keep cable runs within recommended distances for the application. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and secure it to reduce mechanical strain on the connectors.
