The EFB Elektronik EC020200131 RJ-45 Cat7 50 m Grey networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for wired network connections that require elevated bandwidth and robust interference protection. With Cat7 specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suited for demanding local area network setups where signal integrity is important. The grey jacket and standard RJ-45 terminations make it compatible with common network hardware and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable combines S/FTP shielding with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference while ensuring stable contact and corrosion resistance. The 50 m length allows flexible placement in server rooms, offices, or between patch panels and devices without frequent splicing. The construction supports high data rates and provides mechanical durability appropriate for permanent or semi-permanent installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections in offices and data rooms
• Connections between switches, patch panels and servers
• Home networks requiring future-proof bandwidth
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 50 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Run the cable from one network device to another, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal pairs. Terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, plug each end into the appropriate Ethernet ports on switches, routers, patch panels or devices. For best performance, maintain recommended bend radius and separate from strong power cables where possible to further reduce interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable along cable trays or behind walls using proper cable management, avoid kinking, and leave service loops to allow movement. When deploying in high-interference areas, verify grounding of shielded infrastructure and ensure connectors and ports support shielded terminations.
