Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 0.5 m is a short, high-performance patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. Built to the Cat7 standard, it features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for consistent signal transfer. The 0.5 meter length makes it suitable for short runs between switches, patch panels and devices where space is limited; the blue jacket provides a clear visual identification within structured cabling installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall braided shield plus individually foil-shielded pairs) improves noise immunity and helps maintain signal integrity in environments with potential interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and low contact resistance for stable throughput. The cable’s Cat7 specification supports high-speed data transmission and enhanced performance compared with lower-category cables. A short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable clutter and latency in dense rack or desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in server rooms and wiring closets
• Short connections between desktop PCs, NAS devices and networked peripherals
• High-speed links in home or office networks where interference protection is required
• Structured cabling installations that require color-coded patching

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.5 m
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other plug to the corresponding port on a switch, patch panel or router. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the 0.5 m cable to avoid sharp bends or kinks and keep it separated from large sources of electrical noise where possible. No special configuration is required; the cable functions as a passive medium for Ethernet signaling according to standard networking equipment settings.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor use within patching areas and racks; avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, excessive moisture or temperatures beyond typical equipment room ranges. For best performance, pair with compatible Cat7-capable hardware and maintain proper cable management to prevent undue stress on connectors.
