Microconnect B-UTP6075 Καλώδιο δικτύου γκρι 7,5 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP6075 RJ-45 Cat6 7.5m Grey is a category 6 patch cable designed for wired network connections between devices such as switches, modems, routers or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and complies with Cat6 testing up to 250 MHz. Its U/UTP construction reduces interference and it is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations. The grey jacket and 7.5 m length suit small office and home network setups as well as entertainment systems.

Advantages

The Microconnect Cat6 cable provides tested performance to the Cat6 standard (up to 250 MHz), RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/UTP (unshielded overall) construction to minimise crosstalk and external interference. Latch protection on the connectors prevents damage during installation in tight spaces. Backwards compatibility with Cat5e and Cat5 allows use with existing infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Home and small office wired networks
• Networked entertainment devices (smart TVs, game consoles, media players)
• Upgrading Cat5e/Cat5 links to Cat6 performance within short runs

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, modem or endpoint) and the other RJ-45 plug to the patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and that the cable run is free from sharp bends and strong electromagnetic sources. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines over long distances.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 patch cable for short to medium horizontal network runs in home and small office environments. When installing in cabinets or tight spaces, take advantage of the latch protection to avoid damaging the connector. For longer or outdoor runs, consider appropriate cable types and installation practices.
