Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 10 m μαύρο

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 10 m Black is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for wired networks. It combines Category 7 specification with S/FTP (shielded foil-twisted pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable data transmission over a 10 meter length. The cable’s black jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for home, office, or server-room installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and resist corrosion over time. The Cat 7 specification supports higher frequencies and bandwidth compared with lower-category cables, enabling better performance for high-speed local networks and demanding applications. The 10 m length offers flexibility in device placement without the need for additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between computers, switches, routers and networked devices
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, large file transfers, and online gaming
• Office and home network installations where interference protection is required
• Server racks and network closets requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 10 meters
• Jacket color: Black
• Suitable transmission frequency: Cat 7-rated frequencies (higher bandwidth than Cat 5e/6)

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your devices, ensuring a firm click indicates proper seating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, and sources of mechanical damage. For installations in crowded cable runs or metal enclosures, maintain proper grounding of shielded components according to local standards to preserve shielding effectiveness. When connecting to patch panels or keystone jacks, verify compatibility with shielded terminations.

Recommendations

Use the cable for direct device-to-device connections within the 10 m range; avoid kinking and keep bend radius greater than the cable diameter to maintain performance. In environments with heavy electromagnetic interference, ensure both ends are properly terminated to grounded shielded connectors. For permanent installations, test link performance with appropriate network testers to confirm expected throughput and signal quality.
