Καλώδιο patch S/FTP Cat6 Dätwyler 21.05.0010 γκρι 1m

The Dätwyler S/FTP Patch Cable Cat6 in grey, 1 m length, is a shielded network patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in small- and medium-scale installations. The S/FTP (shielded foil over each twisted pair plus overall braid) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission at Cat6 performance levels. The compact 1 m length and standardized RJ45 terminations make it suitable for short interconnects between switches, patch panels and devices in racks, workstations or home networks.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design delivers improved protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference, which helps maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Cat6 performance ensures support for Gigabit Ethernet and higher-frequency applications within standard cabling limits. The grey jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance for visible installations, while the 1 m length reduces excess cable slack and helps keep cabling runs tidy.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Length: 1 meter
• Jacket color: grey
• Connectors: RJ45 terminated
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper
• Suitable for: Gigabit Ethernet and applications within Cat6 limits

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (switch, router, patch panel or NIC) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the 1 m length for short links to avoid excess slack; route the cable to prevent tight bends and avoid running alongside strong power sources where possible. Verify link status on devices to confirm successful negotiation and throughput.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable bend radius above the manufacturer-recommended minimum and avoid crushing or sharply kinking the cable. In environments with substantial electromagnetic interference, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment and consider using shielded patch panels or couplers to maintain shield continuity.
