Patchkabel ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 κίτρινο 20,0m

Patch Cord ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 Yellow 20.0m is a 20-metre network patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office environments. The cable uses a stranded 4-pair copper conductor with complete braid shielding and each pair wrapped in aluminium-clad polyester foil (PiMF), providing improved protection against external interference. Both ends feature screened RJ-45 connectors with moulded kink protection and gold-plated contacts, wired 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PiMF) construction ensures strong overall shielding plus individual pair shielding to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The flexible, double-shielded cable supports narrow bending radii while the moulded kink protection increases connector durability. Gold-plated contacts and quality RJ-45 plugs offer stable, corrosion-resistant connections suitable for high-speed Cat.6 networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in LAN installations
• Structured cabling in office and home network environments
• High-speed Ethernet applications up to Cat6 performance
• Temporary and permanent patching where a visible yellow cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (PiMF), 4-pair stranded copper
• Length: 20.0 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends or pinching; route the cable following your installation’s bend-radius guidelines. Verify link and network status on connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources (large motors, fluorescent ballast, or power cables) and avoid running it in parallel with mains wiring. Use in-line cable management and strain relief when installing permanently to protect the connectors and maintain Cat.6 signal integrity.
