Lindy 47278 Καλώδιο δικτύου μπλε 1,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47278 RJ-45 Cat7 1.5m Blue networking cable is a shielded S/FTP cable designed for reliable wired Ethernet connections. It supports gigabit Ethernet signaling over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and comes with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain consistent contact and reduce corrosion. At 1.5 meters length and finished in blue, the cable is suitable for linking devices in close proximity while retaining signal integrity through its shielding.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, improving signal stability in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The Cat7 specification supports high-frequency transmission and is backward compatible with earlier Ethernet standards, offering flexibility when integrating with existing network hardware. The 1.5 m length is practical for desktop connections, patch panels, and short rack runs while keeping cable clutter minimal.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and network devices within home or office setups
• Short patch-panel to switch connections in server rooms or network cabinets
• Desktop and workplace cable runs where a 1.5 m length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat7 S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pairs with overall braid)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the device Ethernet ports until the latch clicks to ensure secure contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the connectors or cable jacket; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius suitable for the cable type. For best performance, keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources where possible. Verify network link lights on connected devices to confirm a successful connection and test throughput with network diagnostics if required.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and minimize exposure to mechanical stress. Use the Lindy Cat7 cable for short, high-quality connections in environments where shielding against interference is important. If connecting over longer distances or different network speeds, confirm compatibility with installed network equipment and consider cable management solutions to maintain tidy and accessible runs.
