Lindy 47812 Καλώδιο δικτύου πορτοκαλί 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 7.5m Orange networking cable provides a 7.5 metre connection with Category 6 performance and S/FTP shielding. Designed for Gigabit Ethernet networks, the cable uses gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to support reliable signal transmission and reduced contact resistance. The orange jacket helps with easy identification in patch panels, racks and office cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually screened pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The Cat.6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and delivers the bandwidth required for typical office, home and small data centre applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact longevity and continuity, while the 7.5 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or equipment-to-patch panel connections. The bright orange colour assists in visual cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and VoIP phones to a network switch
• Patch panel to switch connections within wiring closets and racks
• Home network installations requiring Gigabit speeds
• Environments where EMI reduction and clear cable identification are needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Cabling category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Outer colour: Orange

How to use

Route the Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP cable between devices and networking equipment, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and heavy compression along the cable run to preserve shielding and pair integrity. For best results, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large sources of EMI. If using cable management hardware, secure the cable without crushing the jacket or connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent Gigabit performance, maintain recommended bend radius (typically at least four times the cable diameter), avoid untwisting more than necessary at termination points, and ensure patch panels and ports are rated for Cat.6. Use the orange colour to label or group connections for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
