Lindy 47375 καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 3 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 3m Black is a Category 6 Ethernet patch cable engineered for reliable gigabit data transfer over a 3 metre run. It features RJ-45 connectors on both ends, S/FTP (Shielded Foil over Twisted Pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference, and gold-plated contacts for consistent electrical connection. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for office, home or rack-mounted installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk and external EMI, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Category 6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, enabling gigabit speeds across typical LAN setups. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance, while the 3 m length offers flexibility for connecting wall ports, switches and devices without excessive cable slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and printers to network switches or wall outlets
• Patch connections in network cabinets and server racks
• Home and small office gigabit LANs where EMI protection is beneficial
• Temporary setups for events or testing where a reliable 3 m cable is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Data standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port on your device and the other to a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve internal pair geometry. For permanent installations, use cable management solutions such as cable ties and trays to keep runs tidy and reduce strain.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with power lines or close to high-power electrical equipment. When used in environments with high electromagnetic interference, verify shielding integrity at patch panels and connectors. Replace the cable if the jacket or connector housing is damaged to maintain reliable network performance.
