Lindy 47378 Καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 10 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 10m Black is a Cat6 Ethernet cable engineered for reliable gigabit networking over a 10 metre run. The cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical devices. Both ends feature gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for consistent contact and reduced corrosion, and the black jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home, office, or server-room installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair plus an overall foil shield helps minimise crosstalk and external noise, supporting stable data transmission at 10/100/1000Base-T(X) speeds. The use of gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improves connector reliability and contact resistance. A 10 m length allows flexible placement between network devices without intermediate patch panels, while the Cat6 specification ensures better performance headroom compared with lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and workstations
• Structured cabling runs in small offices and home networks
• Connecting NAS devices, desktop PCs and access points
• Environments with increased electromagnetic interference where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall foil)
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Outer colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other to the corresponding port on a switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and heavy kinking along the 10 m cable run and keep the cable routed away from high-voltage power lines when possible to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for in-room or rack-to-desk connections up to 10 metres. When installing near large electrical equipment, maintain some separation or use cable management channels to reduce potential interference. Test connections with a network tester after installation to verify continuity and achieve intended gigabit link speeds.
