Καλώδιο δικτύου Digitus CAT 6 U/UTP Patch RJ-45 Cat6 5m λευκό

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/UTP patch cord is a 5 m RJ-45 cable designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. Manufactured to Category 6 (Class E) specifications and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173, the cable supports performance up to 250 MHz, offers PoE+ readiness, and uses copper conductors with an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and reduced smoke emission. The connector features a transparent red plug for easy Category 6 identification and the cable is supplied in white.

Advantages

The patch cord provides Category 6 performance including NEXT characteristics up to 250 MHz, ensuring compatibility with ISO & EN channel requirements. An LSZH sheath reduces smoke and toxic gas release in the event of fire. Molded boots with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection increase connector durability and reduce the risk of latch breakage. The U/UTP design minimises interference while keeping installation straightforward.

Suitable for

• Structured office and data centre horizontal cabling
• Gigabit Ethernet and PoE/PoE+ devices
• Patch panels, switches and wall outlets with RJ-45 ports
• Environments requiring LSZH cabling for safety

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6 (Class E), ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173
• Frequency range: up to 250 MHz
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor: Copper (Cu)
• Cable type: U/UTP
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: White (transparent red connector for Cat6 identification)
• PoE capability: PoE+ ready

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, patch panel or wall outlet) and the other to the endpoint device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and route the cable without sharp bends; the molded boot and kink protection help maintain cable integrity. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and follow structured cabling practices when creating channels or patch panels.

Recommendations

Use this DIGITUS Cat 6 patch cord for horizontal connections within structured networks where Category 6 performance and LSZH safety properties are required. For installations involving long permanent links, combine with appropriate permanent cabling tested to the same standard to maintain channel performance.
