Πομποδέκτης AV Kramer Electronics KDS-EN7 3840x2160 HDMI ενσύρματο

The Kramer Electronics KDS-EN7 3840x2160 HDMI Wired is an AV transmitter that encodes and streams 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) HDMI video over Ethernet using copper cabling. The unit carries video and passes through USB (Type‑B), IR, RS‑232 and CEC control signals across an IP network, supports HDMI loop‑through and provides analog audio embedding and de‑embedding. It is powered by 24V DC and supports PoE operation when used with a compatible PoE switch (typical consumption up to 13W).

Advantages

The KDS‑EN7 offers a rich set of inputs and interfaces and is suitable for large, scalable deployments with up to 999 channels supported and video wall capability up to 16×16. It includes easy‑to‑use KM/KVM features with a searchable on‑screen menu and configurable KVM roaming, instantaneous switching (~1 second), enterprise‑grade security (802.1x, HTTPS/TLS) and OWASP Top 10 certification. The device includes a management LCD, supports a standard P3K Open API for integration and benefits from a new hardware architecture designed for robust firmware updates.

Suitable for

• Command and control rooms requiring real‑time, low‑latency AV streaming
• Large AV content distribution in corporate, government and public-sector facilities using existing wiring
• AV systems in schools, universities and public venues with one or more sources and many displays
• Installations that require KM/KVM functionality and centralized management

How to use

Connect an HDMI source to the HDMI input and, if required, use the HDMI loop‑through for a local monitor. Attach the USB Type‑B, IR, RS‑232 or CEC control connections to the corresponding peripheral or control systems. Connect the device to the IP network using copper Ethernet; use separate Ethernet ports as needed to separate management and AV traffic for security and performance. Configure device settings and KVM/KM behavior via the LCD screen, the searchable OSD menu or through the P3K Open API. For PoE operation, connect to a compatible PoE switch that can supply sufficient power (up to 13W typical).

Recommendations

For best results in large or mission‑critical installations, separate management and AV network traffic using different Ethernet ports or VLANs, use certified PoE switches when relying on PoE power, and keep firmware updated via the device management tools to maintain security and performance.
