Lindy 47163 Καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47163 RJ-45 Cat6 1.5 m networking cable in red is a shielded S/FTP patch cable engineered for reliable gigabit connections in home and office networks. With Cat6 performance and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatibility, this 1.5 metre cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and reduce corrosion, while the S/FTP shielding minimises electromagnetic interference for stable signal transmission. The red jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 bandwidth with S/FTP shielding to deliver consistent gigabit throughput and reduced crosstalk in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. Gold-plated contacts ensure low contact resistance and longer connector life. A 1.5 m length balances reach and cable management in racks, under desks, and between network devices. The vivid red outer sheath helps organise connections and speeds troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and networked computers within a LAN
• Patch panel to switch links in small office or data cabinet setups
• Cabling between wall outlets and network devices in home or office
• Temporary or permanent installations where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Cabling standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided/foil screened pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Red

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device until the latch clicks, and connect the other end to a router, switch or wall outlet. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable run and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. When routing through cable management or patch panels, allow a small service loop to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for gigabit Ethernet connections in environments where shielding is important. For optimal long-term performance, periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show signs of wear.
