Lindy 47796 καλώδιο δικτύου λευκό 5 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 5m White is a 5-meter Category 6 networking cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It uses S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain a stable connection and resist corrosion. The cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and comes in a white finish suitable for offices, homes, and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

Built to Category 6 standards, this Lindy cable provides consistent performance for Gigabit Ethernet applications. The S/FTP construction combines an overall screen with individually foiled pairs to improve noise rejection compared with unshielded alternatives. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 connectors offer durable conductivity and reduced contact resistance. The 5 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical desk- or rack-level connections, and the white jacket integrates discreetly into many environments.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T(X)) between switches, routers and endpoints
• Office and home network cabling where reduced interference is required
• Structured cabling runs within server rooms or patch panels up to 5 meters
• Audio-visual installations requiring shielded copper connections to minimise noise

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network device such as a switch, router or network interface on a computer and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible. For installations involving patch panels or keystone jacks, terminate or plug the cable according to the panel’s port labeling to maintain correct network topology.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid kinking the cable and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines; maintain separation from mains power cables where feasible to reduce potential interference. Use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for links up to 5 metres as specified, and replace if connectors or the jacket show visible wear.
