Lindy 2m Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών LC/LC, 50/125µm, OM5

The Lindy Fibre Optic Cable LC/LC 2m (50/125µm OM5) is a multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in networks requiring increased bandwidth. With LC connectors on both ends and a 50µm core diameter, this 2-metre cable supports OM5 multimode applications and provides low signal attenuation and reliable connections for telecom and data centre environments.

Advantages

This OM5 LC/LC cable offers low signal loss and high reliability thanks to multimode fibre construction and standard-compatible LC connectors. The 2 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or device-to-device connections, while the 50/125µm core/cladding configuration ensures compatibility with existing multimode infrastructure. The cable is suitable for demanding high-bandwidth applications and typical telecom deployments.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server racks
• High-speed LAN backbones
• Telecommunications equipment connections
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before installation. Align the LC connectors with the device or patch panel ports and insert until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the fibre.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector end-faces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools, avoid sharp bends, and verify link integrity with suitable testing equipment after installation.
