Καλώδιο Οπτικών Ινών Duplex SC/SC InLine 83501O 1m OM3 50/125µm

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 1m is a single-meter multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission and full-duplex communication. It features SC connectors on both ends in a duplex configuration and a 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry compliant with OM3 multimode standards. The cable is intended for linking optical ports in network equipment, patch panels and active devices where OM3 performance is required.

Advantages

This fiber cable provides predictable multimode OM3 performance for applications that require higher bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. The SC/SC duplex connector arrangement enables simple, keyed connections for transmit and receive channels, supporting reliable full-duplex operation. At a 1 meter length the cable is compact and convenient for short interconnects in racks, server cabinets or workstation patching, while maintaining consistent optical characteristics.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Short-distance multimode links between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Data center rack and cabinet patching where OM3 performance is specified
• Connecting network equipment ports that use SC duplex interfaces
• Laboratory or testing setups requiring a 1 m OM3 duplex fiber jumper

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Length: 1 meter
• Mode: Duplex (separate Tx and Rx fibers)

How to use

Connect each SC connector to the corresponding SC duplex port on your transceiver, switch or patch panel, ensuring correct orientation of transmit and receive channels. Avoid excessive bending of the cable; maintain bend radii appropriate for multimode fiber to prevent increased attenuation. For installation, route the cable through cable management hardware to prevent strain on connectors and to keep fiber paths neat and accessible.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before use and, if necessary, clean with approved fiber cleaning tools to maintain optical performance. Store the cable coiled without tight loops and protect connector ferrules with dust caps when not connected. For best results use this OM3 duplex cable within standard multimode link budgets and follow manufacturer guidelines for transceiver and patching equipment compatibility.
