Καλώδιο Οπτικών Ινών Duplex LC/SC InLine 50/125µm OM3 3m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 3m is a multimode duplex fiber patch cable engineered for high-speed data transmission and reliable network connectivity. With LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other, and a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter conforming to OM3 specifications, the cable supports full-duplex communication and is suitable for short- to medium-range links in structured cabling systems. The 3-meter length provides enough reach for rack-to-equipment or room-to-room connections while maintaining low insertion loss and controlled modal bandwidth for modern network equipment.

Advantages

This OM3 duplex cable offers improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-graded multimode fibers, enabling higher aggregated data rates and better performance in 10 Gbit/s and some 40/100 Gbit/s environments at appropriate distances. The LC to SC connector configuration ensures compatibility with a wide range of transceivers, patch panels and legacy equipment. Its duplex construction maintains correct polarity for transmit and receive channels, while the 3 m length balances flexibility and cable management ease in both home and office installations.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Length: 3 m
• Polarity: Duplex (Tx/Rx separated)
• Typical applications: Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode
• Jacket: PVC or LSZH variant depending on supplier batch

How to use

Verify that both network interfaces support multimode fiber and that transceivers match OM3 specifications before installation. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port, ensuring secure seating until the connectors click or engage. Maintain correct duplex orientation so the transmit (Tx) on one end aligns with receive (Rx) on the other. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer during routing. After connection, perform an optical link test or check link/activity indicators on network devices to confirm proper operation.
