Lindy 2m Cat.6A S/FTP καλώδιο δικτύου με ασφάλιση, γκρι

The Lindy 2m Cat.6A RJ-45 S/FTP Locking Network Cable provides a tamper-resistant physical connection for network equipment. The locking security key prevents accidental or unauthorised removal, while the Cat.6A S/FTP construction and support for up to 500 MHz bandwidth meet the requirements of 10GBase-T Ethernet. The cable is finished in grey with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH) sheath suitable for public environments.

Advantages

This Cat.6A S/FTP cable combines braid and foil shielding for each twisted pair to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts ensure corrosion-resistant and stable connections, and a snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during insertion and removal. The locking mechanism adds physical security by allowing removal only with the supplied key.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet up to 10GBase-T
• Data centre and server rack patching where physical security is required
• Office and public-space network installs needing low-smoke halogen-free cabling
• Environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.6A S/FTP (braid overall shield + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, locking plug with security key
• Length: 2 m
• Sheath: LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen)
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports until the locking mechanism engages. Use the supplied security key to lock the plug in place if physical retention is required. To remove the cable, unlock it with the supplied key before disconnecting. Handle the cable by the connector body and avoid sharp bends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A cable for links up to 2 m in length within structured cabling or patching scenarios and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical cables. Ensure the locking key is stored securely to allow authorised removal when required.
