Καλώδιο patch duplex οπτικών ινών ShiverPeaks 77825 SC/SC 9/125 µm OS1/OS2 5,0 m

Duplex fiber optic patch cable ShiverPeaks 77825 with SC to SC connectors and 9/125 µm single-mode fiber (OS1/OS2) is a 5.0 m link designed for optical signal transmission in LAN, telecom and data center environments. The cable contains two fibres in a single duplex jacket and is intended for interconnecting network devices, patch panels and optical equipment where single-mode performance and low insertion loss are required.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks duplex patch cable offers standard SC push-pull connectors for reliable mechanical mating and easy installation. Its 9/125 µm single-mode fibre is suitable for long-distance and high-bandwidth optical links conforming to OS1/OS2 performance categories. The duplex construction keeps transmit and receive fibres paired and clearly identified in a single yellow jacket for straightforward routing in cabling infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Interconnection between network switches, media converters and optical transceivers
• Patch panel links in data centers and server rooms
• Telecommunications backbone and campus network fiber runs
• Optical test equipment and lab setups requiring SC/SC terminations

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode 9/125 µm
• Compliance: suitable for OS1 and OS2 single-mode applications
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Jacket color: yellow (duplex)
• Configuration: two fibers in a duplex jacket (paired TX/RX)

How to use

Align the SC connectors with the corresponding SC ports on the devices or patch panels and insert until the connector clicks to ensure secure connection. Verify polarity so that transmit and receive fibres are matched between endpoints. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable with appropriate cable management to maintain minimum bend radius and to prevent strain on the connectors. If necessary, clean connector endfaces with approved fiber cleaning tools before mating to reduce insertion loss and prevent contamination.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid tight bending; observe the manufacturer's minimum bend radius. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform visual inspection or cleaning of connector endfaces before connection to maintain signal integrity.
