Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών DeLOCK 86548 0,5 m LC SC κίτρινο

The DELOCK 86548 is a 0.5 m single-mode OS2 fibre optic patch cable with LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other. Designed for short interconnects in telecommunication and data centre environments, the cable features a 9 µm core diameter to support precise, low-loss light transmission and full duplex communication. The cable’s yellow jacket indicates single-mode use and helps with cable identification in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

This 0.5 m fibre optic cable offers consistent single-mode performance for high-speed links and low insertion loss appropriate for modern networking equipment. The LC and SC connectors provide compatibility with a wide range of transceivers, patch panels and network devices, while the compact LC connector allows for higher density connections where space is limited. The durable outer jacket and polished connector endfaces contribute to reliable long-term operation.

Suitable for

• Short patching between optical equipment in server rooms and network cabinets
• Connecting transceivers, switches, routers and patch panels with LC and SC ports
• Environments requiring single-mode OS2 cabling for long-distance or precise optical links

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Fibre type: Single-mode (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Yellow (single-mode identification)

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean if necessary to avoid signal loss. Route the cable along designated pathways or within patch panels, avoiding tight bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. Connect the LC end to the device or transceiver with an LC socket and the SC end to the corresponding SC port or panel. Verify link status using network diagnostics or optical test equipment to confirm correct installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, use dust caps on unused connectors, and avoid kinking. For critical links or long-term installations, perform insertion loss and return loss measurements after installation and periodically during maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
