Καλώδιο patch οπτικών ινών Duplex ShiverPeaks 77823 SC/SC 9/125µm OS1/OS2 2,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Fiber Optic Duplex Patch Cable 77823 is a 2.0 m single‑mode patch cord with SC to SC duplex connectors and 9/125 µm OS1/OS2 fiber. It delivers two fibers in a single yellow duplex assembly for transmit and receive channels and is intended for point‑to‑point optical links in telecom, data centers and FTTH (fiber to the home) environments. The cable supports standard single‑mode equipment and provides a compact, factory‑terminated connection for linking optical transceivers, patch panels and distribution frames.

Advantages

This duplex patch cable combines SC mechanical durability with single‑mode 9/125 µm fiber performance to ensure low attenuation and stable signal transmission over typical installation distances. Its duplex construction keeps transmit and receive channels paired for straightforward connectivity, while the standardized SC connectors allow reliable mating with common single‑mode ports. The 2.0 m length offers flexibility for short interconnections in racks, patch panels and terminal boxes.

Suitable for

• Point‑to‑point optical links in telecom and service provider networks
• Patch connections in data center racks and optical distribution frames
• FTTH and subscriber termination where single‑mode links are required
• Connecting single‑mode optical transceivers, media converters and switches

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single‑mode 9/125 µm (OS1/OS2)
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Assembly: duplex cable with paired fibers for transmit and receive
• Length: 2.0 m
• Cable color: yellow (industry standard for single‑mode)
• Termination: factory polished SC connectors for plug‑and‑play use

How to use

Route the duplex patch cable between the two single‑mode ports requiring connection, taking care to maintain the correct transmit/receive orientation if devices require a specific polarity. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC receptacle until it clicks into place. Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for 9/125 µm cable types. For removal, press the SC connector latch and gently withdraw to avoid stressing the fiber ends.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before mating and, if necessary, clean with an appropriate fiber optic cleaning tool to prevent signal loss or damage. Use strain relief at patch panels or equipment entry points and avoid prolonged exposure to mechanical stress or moisture to preserve optical performance.
