Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 0.25m networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections in compact setups. With U/UTP construction and RJ-45 connectors plated in gold, the cable supports reliable data transmission and reduced contact corrosion. The vivid red jacket makes port identification simple and adds a distinct visual accent to racks, patch panels, or desktop connections.

Advantages

This Cat 6 cable offers improved signal integrity for applications that require stable gigabit performance over short distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide low-contact resistance and enhanced durability, while the U/UTP design combines individual pair performance with an overall unshielded jacket for flexibility. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and connection losses in tightly arranged equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting network ports on nearby devices such as switches, routers, and patch panels
• Short patch connections in server racks and home networking cabinets
• Testing, lab setups, and workstation cabling where minimal slack is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6 (suitable for gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall unshielded with each pair unshielded)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Red

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use this 0.25 m cable to link adjacent ports on network switches, patch panels, or directly between devices where a short, reliable connection is required. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not subject the cable to heavy mechanical stress to preserve contact integrity and signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable for short-distance gigabit connections and avoid running it near high-power electrical cabling. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if the latch or contacts show wear.
