S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6A, Component Level, LSOH, yellow, 10 m. The ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP patch cable is designed for reliable networking connections between devices. It uses a 4-pair stranded copper construction with complete braid shielding and pairs wrapped in aluminium-clad polyester foil, and is terminated with screened RJ-45 connectors at both ends.

Advantages

The cable is a prepared double-shielded twisted pair (S/FTP) patch lead that provides durable performance thanks to moulded kink protection and flexible construction suitable for narrow bending. It features high-quality plugs with gold-plated contacts and contact wiring 1:1 in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels
• Short- to medium-length horizontal cabling runs within offices and homes
• Environments requiring screened cable to reduce electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Cable standard: Cat6a
• Cable shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Connector 1: RJ-45
• Connector 2: RJ-45
• Construction: 4-pair stranded copper wire
• Contact configuration: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Product colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug the screened RJ-45 connector into the network port of each device, ensuring secure seating at both ends. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius to maintain shielding integrity. Use the moulded kink protection region near the connectors to reduce strain and prevent damage during installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in screened network environments or where reduced electromagnetic interference is required; avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and inspect connectors for secure mating before use.
