S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6A, Component Level, LSOH, grey, 1 m. The ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP networking cable is a 1 m patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission between network devices. It uses shielded, twisted-pair construction and screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends to ensure reliable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The cable features double shielding (complete braid plus foil around each pair), high-quality RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for improved durability. Its 4-pair stranded copper conductor and contact wiring 1:1 in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard provide stable signal integrity. The flexible jacket and LSOH material make it suitable for installations requiring narrow bends and lower smoke emissions.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms and office networks
• High-speed Ethernet links up to Cat6a (10 Gbps) over short distances
• Professional structured cabling and component-level patching

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (S-STP) — overall braid + foil-shielded pairs
• Category: Cat6a (Component Level)
• Length: 1 m
• Conductors: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Contact configuration: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Jacket: LSOH (grey)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port until the latch clicks. Use the cable to link network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Route the cable without excessive pulling or sharp bends; the moulded kink protection reduces stress at the connector ends. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gbps performance, use the cable for short links within the same rack or adjacent racks and follow structured cabling practices. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and avoid tight cable bundles with power lines to minimize interference.
