The LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0025-S Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45 network cable is a 0.25 m grey patch lead designed for short Ethernet connections in home and office environments. With RJ-45 plugs on both ends and U/UTP construction to reduce external interference, this compact cable is intended for linking routers, switches, patch panels and local devices where a brief, reliable connection is required. Its short length makes it suitable for tidy setups in racks, on desktops or behind equipment where excess cable would be undesirable.

Advantages

This Cat5e patch cable offers a compact footprint and straightforward plug-and-play operation. The U/UTP construction helps limit electromagnetic interference for stable signal transmission across short distances. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates well into professional and home installations, while the RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common Ethernet ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting a router to a switch or modem over a short distance
• Patching between ports in a network rack or patch panel
• Linking desktop devices such as PCs or printers to a nearby switch
• Temporary or permanent short runs behind AV equipment or monitors

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 0.25 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on the devices to be connected until the clip clicks into place. For best performance maintain minimal bending of the cable near the connector and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines over long distances. The cable requires no configuration and functions immediately once physically connected between compatible network ports.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat5e patch cable for neat, close-proximity connections in racks, behind equipment or on desktops. Avoid tight bends or sharp kinks and do not subject the cable to excessive tension. For longer runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider using higher-category or shielded cable types.
