LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0100-BK is a 1 m Cat5e patch cable with RJ-45 plugs on both ends. Its U/UTP construction (unshielded twisted pairs in an overall unshielded jacket) minimises crosstalk and reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference compared with untwisted alternatives, supporting stable data transmission and gigabit-capable connections in short-distance setups. The black jacket and compact length make this cable convenient for neat patching in racks, patch panels, switches, routers and desktop or home network links.

Advantages

The cable offers a standardized Cat5e specification suitable for fast Ethernet and gigabit networks over short runs, with RJ-45 connectors that ensure compatibility with common networking equipment. Its 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter in confined installations. The black PVC jacket provides a discreet appearance and basic mechanical protection for the internal twisted pairs.

Suitable for

• Patching between switch ports and patch panels in server rooms or wiring cabinets
• Connecting routers, switches and desktop PCs in office or home environments
• Short links in structured cabling where a 1 m cable length is required
• Temporary network setups, testing and lab environments

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, unshielded overall)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable for direct connections between switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices where a short, reliable link is required. Avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling force and contact with sources of strong electromagnetic noise to maintain optimal signal integrity. For permanent installations, route the cable along cable management paths or within patch panels to keep connections organized.

Recommendations

Choose this 1 m Cat5e cable for tidy, short-distance connections in racks, patch panels and desktop setups. For longer runs or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider using higher-category cables or shielded constructions appropriate to the installation.
