Καλώδιο δικτύωσης ShiverPeaks MCL 5m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable MCL 5m Cat7 S/FTP is a 5-meter RJ45 cable rated Category 7 (Class F) for high-speed wired connections. It supports data transmission up to 10 Gbit/s and frequencies up to 600 MHz. The cable features S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, and comes in grey. A ripstop muff protects the connector clip for improved durability when connecting to wall outlets, patch panels or switches.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed transfers. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The ripstop muff protects the latch from accidental damage, extending connector life. The 5 m length provides flexibility when linking devices across rooms or rack equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers or laptops to wall network outlets
• Linking patch panels to network switches in small server racks
• Home and office wired Ethernet installations requiring up to 10 Gbit/s

How to use

Insert the gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device or wall outlet until the latch clicks. When connecting to patch panels or switches, ensure the ports are powered off if recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension on the connector. To disconnect, press the ripstop muff latch gently and pull the connector straight out.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius above manufacturer-recommended limits. Use Cat7 cabling where 10 Gbit/s performance and improved shielding are required; for lower-speed or legacy installations Cat5e/Cat6 may be sufficient.
