Gembird καλώδιο οπτικής ίνας Multimode Duplex OM4 50/125 LC/LC 5 m

The Gembird Multimode Duplex OM4 50/125 Fiber Optic Cable with integrated LC/LC connectors and a 5 m length is designed for high-speed data transmission in local area networks, data centers and telecommunications environments. The OM4 multimode construction provides low signal loss and supports high bandwidth applications up to 100 Gbps.

Advantages

This duplex multimode fibre optic cable supports data transfer rates up to 100 Gbps and minimizes signal attenuation thanks to its OM4 50/125 specification. Integrated LC/LC connectors ensure a reliable, easy-to-install connection. The 5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections in confined or organised cabling setups.

How to use

Route the cable between two LC-compatible ports, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion to avoid contamination that can degrade performance. Align and insert the LC connectors until they click into place. Secure cable runs to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension that could impair signal transmission. For removal, press the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector or port.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 cable in short-reach, high-bandwidth environments and follow manufacturer cleaning and handling procedures for fibre connectors. Avoid tight bends (observe minimum bend radius) and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use.
