DSIT RJ45 Καλώδιο Δικτύου S/FTP PiMF CAT 8 Ακατέργαστο Μπλε 3m

Data centres and high-performance computing environments demand cabling that can keep pace with 40 Gigabit Ethernet. This DSIT CAT 8 network cable delivers exactly that, with S/FTP shielding and PiMF construction to eliminate crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The blue 3-metre length is ideal for patching between servers, switches, and patch panels in dense racks, while gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure a reliable, corrosion-resistant connection for years of service.

Key specifications

• Category 8 (CAT 8) performance, 2000 MHz bandwidth
• Supports data rates up to 40 Gbit/s (40GBASE-T)
• S/FTP shielding: overall braid + foil per pair (PiMF)
• Oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, 22 AWG stranded
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors (50µ) on both ends
• Length: 3 metres; colour: blue; PVC jacket
• PoE support: PoE, PoE+, PoE++, 4PPoE
• Impedance: 100 Ohm; compatible with 10/100/1000/10G/25G/40G Ethernet

Why choose it

This cable is built for mission-critical networks where signal integrity is non-negotiable. The combination of S/FTP and PiMF shielding provides superior protection against alien crosstalk, making it suitable for high-density installations. Oxygen-free copper conductors minimise attenuation, while the stranded design offers flexibility for tight bends without performance loss. The gold-plated connectors maintain low contact resistance over thousands of mating cycles.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre server-to-switch connections at 25G/40G speeds
• High-density patch panels in enterprise network racks
• Professional AV and broadcast installations requiring high bandwidth
• PoE++ applications powering devices like pan-tilt-zoom cameras
• Upgrading existing infrastructure to future-proof for 40GBASE-T

Good to know

The cable is a raw cable (Rohkabel) with connectors already attached, ready for immediate use. It meets CAT 8 specifications as defined by ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801 Class I, ensuring interoperability with standard RJ45 equipment. The blue jacket allows for easy colour-coding in complex installations. While CAT 8 supports up to 30 metres for 40GBASE-T, this 3-metre length is ideal for short, high-speed links within racks or between adjacent equipment.
