DSIT Καλώδιο δικτύου Cat.7 S/FTP (PiMF) RJ45, πορτοκαλί, 7,5 m

When a network administrator in a busy data centre needs to link a high-throughput server to a 10 Gigabit switch over a distance that standard patch leads cannot reliably cover, this DSIT Cat.7 cable is the dependable choice. The 7.5-metre length bridges equipment racks and wall outlets without signal degradation, while the vivid orange jacket makes it easy to identify among bundles of grey and blue cabling.

Key specifications

• Category 7 (Cat.7) performance with S/FTP (PiMF) shielding: each twisted pair is individually wrapped in metal foil, and an overall braided screen rejects electromagnetic interference.
• RJ45 male to RJ45 male connectors with 50µ gold-plated contacts for low contact resistance and long-term corrosion resistance.
• Supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet up to 600 MHz bandwidth, with backward compatibility to Cat.6a, Cat.6, Cat.5e, and Cat.5 networks.
• Bare copper stranded conductors, 26 AWG, ensure excellent conductivity and flexibility for tight bends behind patch panels.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gas emissions in the event of fire, making it suitable for public buildings and confined spaces.
• PoE ready: handles PoE, PoE+, and 4PPoE (PoE++) to power devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
• Complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and TIA/EIA-568-C.2 structured cabling standards.

Why choose it

The S/FTP (PiMF) construction virtually eliminates alien crosstalk, a critical advantage in high-density 10G deployments. The LSZH jacket adds safety in public spaces, while the gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connectivity over thousands of mating cycles.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre interconnects between servers and 10G switches.
• High-density patch panels where alien crosstalk is a concern.
• Power over Ethernet applications for IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones.
• Public buildings and confined spaces requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling.

Good to know

The cable is backward compatible with all previous Ethernet categories, so it works seamlessly in mixed environments. Its stranded conductors provide the flexibility needed for tight bends, while the robust shielding protects signal integrity even in electrically noisy environments.
