ACT 50 μέτρα LSZH Multimode 62.5/125 OM1 Καλώδιο patch οπτικής ίνας duplex με βύσματα ST

The ACT 50m LSZH Multimode 62.5/125 OM1 Duplex ST fiber patch cable is designed for indoor networking environments that require reliable full-duplex optical links. This multimode OM1 cable uses a 62.5/125 µm core/cladding configuration and comes in a 50-metre length with ST connectors on both ends, providing a ready-to-use duplex connection for switches, patch panels and legacy multimode equipment. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, supporting safer installations in enclosed spaces.

Advantages

This fiber patch cable offers stable multimode transmission with low attenuation over its 50 m length and simple, tool-free mating via ST connectors for quick deployment. The duplex configuration enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels for full-duplex networking, and the LSZH outer jacket minimizes hazardous emissions, making the cable suitable for commercial and institutional indoor use. The OM1 62.5/125 core geometry ensures compatibility with many existing multimode systems and light sources.

Suitable for

• Indoor campus and office backbone links up to 50 m
• Fiber patching between switches, media converters and patch panels
• Legacy multimode equipment and structured cabling OM1 applications
• Environments where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM1, 62.5/125 µm
• Length: 50 metres
• Connector type: ST on both ends, duplex
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers for full-duplex communication)

How to use

Prepare equipment by powering down ports if recommended by the device manufacturer, then align and insert the ST connectors into the corresponding ST ports until the bayonet coupling engages. Ensure correct orientation of transmit and receive channels for full-duplex operation. Route the cable along designated cable trays or conduits, avoiding tight bends and abrasive contact points; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent microbending losses. After installation, perform basic optical tests such as continuity and attenuation checks to confirm link integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid exceeding the specified cable length for the intended application and keep bends gentle. Use patch panels or strain-relief points to reduce mechanical stress on connectors. Where fire safety standards require, select LSZH-jacketed cables like this model for enclosed public or commercial spaces.
