The Zebra P1105147-020 Peel-off kit is an accessory designed for use with Zebra label printers, specifically compatible with the ZT421 model. The kit enables automatic or semi-automatic peeling of adhesive labels from their backing, simplifying label application and reducing manual handling during printing operations. Supplied as a single kit per pack, it contains the parts required to fit the peel-off function to a compatible printer so users can streamline labeling workflows and achieve consistent label presentation.

Advantages

The peel-off kit reduces the time needed to separate labels from backing material, improving throughput in repetitive labeling tasks. By providing a reliable peel path and consistent label delivery, it decreases the risk of misfeeds and wasted media. Installation restores or adds peel-off capability without replacing the printer, maintaining print quality and ensuring labels are presented ready for immediate application.

Suitable for

• Production lines where labels must be applied quickly and repeatedly
• Shipping and fulfillment operations requiring fast carton or package labeling
• Point-of-application scenarios such as retail, warehouse, or manufacturing stations
• Environments aiming to reduce manual handling of adhesive labels

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for use with Zebra ZT421 label printers
• Function: Peel-off mechanism for removing labels from liner
• Supply: Single kit per pack including all components for the peel-off assembly
• Installation: User-installable accessory intended to integrate into existing printer media path
• Effect on workflow: Enables immediate presentation of printed labels for manual application

How to use

Install the peel-off kit following the printer manufacturer’s instructions to integrate the peel path into the media handling assembly. After installation, load label media as usual and configure the printer media settings to enable peel-off operation if required. During printing, the peel-off mechanism separates each label from its liner so that the label is presented at the front of the printer for easy removal and application. Periodically inspect the peel path and clean as recommended to maintain reliable label separation and prevent jams.

Recommendations

Use label stocks within the printer’s supported size and adhesive specifications, and follow Zebra’s guidelines for media type and thickness. Regularly check for wear on moving parts and replace the kit components if performance degrades. For best results in high-volume operations, verify printer settings and test a sample run after installation to confirm consistent label presentation.
