Καλώδιο δικτύου Goobay 95466 0,5m Cat6 S/FTP

The Goobay 95466 networking cable is a 0.5 m Cat6 S/FTP patch cable with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Designed for reliable high-speed data transmission, this cable supports transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The robust sheath and precise plugs ensure a stable connection in home and small office networks; the cable is available in an eye-catching orange color.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. Gold-plated contacts enhance connectivity and corrosion resistance for consistent data transfer. Short 0.5 m length helps keep cable runs tidy and minimizes signal attenuation in dense setups. Sturdy cable sheathing and precisely fitted RJ-45 plugs improve mechanical durability and long-term reliability.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting network devices in home or small office environments
• Linking switches, routers and patch panels over short distances
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 1 Gbit/s
• Environments where reduced interference is required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, PC or patch panel) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure both connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Use the 0.5 m cable to link devices that are close together or to create tidy patch connections in a rack or desk setup. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve shielding and connector integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for connections up to 1 Gbit/s and keep cable runs short to minimize interference. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if jacket or plugs become worn.
