Βύσμα RJ45 ShiverPeaks BS08-45006-2 Toolless Quick STP, θωρακισμένο βύσμα Ethernet

Shielded RJ45 connector ShiverPeaks BS08-45006-2 is a toolless Quick STP Ethernet plug designed for terminating shielded twisted-pair cables. The connector provides a fast, tool-free termination method while preserving cable shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensure reliable signal transmission in LAN and industrial Ethernet environments. Its compact design supports on-site patching, repairs and making custom-length cable assemblies without the need for crimping tools or specialized equipment.

Advantages

The toolless Quick STP design allows immediate assembly by hand, cutting installation time and eliminating the need for crimping tools. Shielded construction maintains grounding continuity and reduces EMI, which is important for industrial and crowded cabling environments. The connector's ergonomic housing and clear wiring path simplify cable insertion and alignment, helping ensure consistent contact with conductors and a stable network connection.

Suitable for

• On-site network patching and repairs
• Custom-length shielded Ethernet cable assemblies
• LAN installations in commercial and office environments
• Industrial Ethernet applications requiring EMI protection

Key specifications

• Type: Shielded RJ45 Quick STP toolless connector
• Cable compatibility: Shielded twisted-pair (STP) Ethernet cables
• Installation: Tool-free hand assembly
• Contact arrangement: 8-position, 8-contact (8P8C) compatible
• Shielding: Integrated metal/shield path to maintain cable screening
• Use cases: Patch, repair, and custom cable termination for LAN and industrial networks

How to use

Prepare the shielded twisted-pair cable by stripping the outer jacket and exposing the foil braid and drain wire according to the connector's recommended strip lengths. Insert the cable into the connector housing, ensuring the drain wire and shielding make contact with the connector's shield contact. Align and seat each conductor into the designated slots following the connector's wiring orientation. Complete the assembly by securing the housing per the connector's hand-assembly mechanism to lock conductors in place and establish contact. No crimping or special tools are required.

Recommendations

Use the connector with properly prepared STP cables and verify that the shield and drain wire are in solid contact with the connector shield for optimal EMI protection. Test terminated cables with appropriate network testers to confirm continuity and pair integrity before deployment in critical networks.
