Σύνδεσμος ShiverPeaks LSA BS08-10001-2 χωρίς εργαλεία, Quick Cat.6A

The ShiverPeaks LSA BS08-10001-2 toolless, Quick Cat.6A connector is a compact termination module engineered for rapid, reliable Cat.6A cabling connections. It offers a toolless LSA-style interface that simplifies field and panel terminations, enabling fast installation of high-speed network links while maintaining the performance required for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over structured cabling.

Advantages

This toolless connector reduces installation time by eliminating the need for punch-down tools while preserving consistent pair alignment and contact integrity. Its compact design fits standard patch panels and keystone openings, allowing flexible use in both new installations and retrofits. The connector supports the electrical and mechanical characteristics necessary for Category 6A performance, ensuring reliable data transmission and reduced rework.

Suitable for

• Termination of Cat.6A twisted-pair cables in patch panels and keystone inserts
• Field wiring where fast, tool-free connections are required
• Commercial and residential network installations requiring 10 Gigabit-capable links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A performance level suitable for 10GBASE-T applications
• Termination style: LSA-style toolless quick termination
• Cable compatibility: shielded and unshielded twisted-pair cables within Cat.6A range
• Form factor: compact module compatible with standard keystone and panel mounts
• Contact mechanism: insulation displacement for secure, consistent pair contact

How to use

Prepare the Cat.6A cable by stripping the outer sheath to the recommended length and separating the pairs without untwisting more than necessary. Insert each conductor into the corresponding slot of the LSA-style connector following the standard color code. Engage the quick-termination mechanism to displace insulation and make contact; no punch-down tool is required. After termination, verify pair continuity and performance with appropriate cable testers and install the module into the patch panel or keystone opening.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the connector with Cat.6A-rated cable and limit untwisting of pairs during termination. Test each link after installation to confirm signal integrity and compliance with network requirements. Store connectors in a dry, dust-free environment prior to installation to prevent contamination of contact surfaces.
