• Prototyping and equipment testing where RJ-45 male connections are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 male
• Color: grey
• Pack quantity: 4 connectors
• Contact arrangement: standard 8P8C pin layout
• Intended use: Ethernet/network cable termination
• Material: durable insulating housing with metal contacts

How to use

Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the twisted pairs, then arrange the conductors according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the wires fully into the connector so each conductor seats into its corresponding contact. Use an appropriate crimping tool to secure the connector to the cable, ensuring firm mechanical and electrical contact. Verify continuity and correct wiring with a cable tester before installing into active equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use a compatible RJ-45 crimping tool and verify the wiring standard prior to crimping. Avoid excessive bending near the termination point and test the finished cable with a network cable tester to confirm signal integrity. Store unused connectors in a dry environment to prevent contamination of contacts.
