The ShiverPeaks SC-SC Simplex Keystone Fiber Optic Connector (green) provides a standardized SC interface for single-fiber links. Designed in a keystone form factor, it fits into compatible keystone wall plates and patch panels to enable simple SC-to-SC simplex fiber connections. Intended for indoor use, the connector supports tidy cable management and fast panel installations in networking and telecom environments where a compact, modular fiber interface is required.

Advantages

This keystone-style connector offers a reliable mechanical SC simplex coupling with easy snap-in installation into keystone cutouts. The green color denotes the connector type for clear visual identification during deployment and maintenance. Its compact keystone housing allows consistent alignment with wall plates and patch panels and reduces installation time compared with hard-mounted adapters.

Suitable for

• Indoor fiber terminations in offices and data closets
• Patch panels and keystone-compatible wall plates
• SC-to-SC simplex fiber connections in LAN and telecom racks
• Fiber patching and cable management in structured cabling systems

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC to SC simplex
• Form factor: Keystone module
• Color: Green (for easy identification)
• Mounting: Snap-in keystone compatible
• Application: Indoor single-fiber links, patching and panel installations

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone cutout on a wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Prepare fiber ends according to standard termination and polishing procedures, then insert pigtails or patch cords into the SC receptacles to establish the SC-to-SC simplex connection. Ensure connector endfaces are clean and use appropriate cleaning tools to remove dust or contaminants before mating. Verify signal continuity and optical loss using proper test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this SC-SC simplex keystone connector in indoor environments with controlled humidity and temperature. Clean connector endfaces before each connection, and use compatible keystone plates and panels to ensure secure mounting and correct alignment of fiber links.
