Digitus οπτικός ζεύκτης duplex SC σε SC MM OM4

Digitus Fiber optic coupling duplex SC to SC MM OM4 is a compact duplex SC-to-SC adapter designed for multi-mode OM4 fiber connections. With a compact profile (width 28 mm, depth 9 mm, height 34 mm) and robust ceramic sleeves, the coupling provides precise alignment and low optical loss for data networks, FTTH, data centers and telecommunications installations. The purple colour identifies OM4 multimode compatibility; dust caps are supplied to protect ferrules during storage and installation.

Advantages

The duplex SC to SC MM OM4 coupling offers robust and reliable performance for long-term use in splice boxes and junction panels. High-quality ceramic sleeves ensure precise alignment and consistent low-loss connections. The compact design supports space-saving installation, while supplied dust caps help maintain clean ferrules and stable optical performance.

Suitable for

• FTTH installations
• Data centres and server rooms
• Patch panels and splice boxes
• Telecommunications networks and backbone links

How to use

Insert the polished ferrules of two SC connectors into the duplex SC coupling until they click into place, ensuring the connectors are clean and free of dust. The ceramic sleeve aligns the fiber cores to minimise insertion loss. Mount the coupling into the splice box or panel cut-out and secure as required. Use the supplied dust caps when the coupling is not in active use to protect the connector endfaces.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connection, avoid excessive force when inserting connectors, and store with dust caps fitted to maintain low-loss, reliable connections over time.
