VivoLink VLHDMIEXT3-R AV-Extender — συσκευή επέκτασης HDMI VLHDMIEXT3-R

VivoLink VLHDMIEXT3-R is a receiver unit designed to work with the VLHDMIEXT3-T transmitter to extend HDMI video, audio and IR control signals over a single Cat 6 network cable. The receiver supports up to 1080P@60 Hz and allows point-to-point extension up to 150 meters. Multiple receivers can be deployed on the same network when using a Gbit switch, with each receiver occupying approximately 18 Mbit/s of bandwidth. This device is not compatible with HDBaseT receivers.

Advantages

The VLHDMIEXT3-R provides a cost-effective solution for extending Full HD HDMI signals and IR control over standard Cat 6 cabling. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) or can be powered via the included USB-C to A cable, simplifies installations by allowing one transmitter to feed multiple receivers through a Gbit switch, and maintains 1080P@60 Hz performance across distances up to 150 m.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI from media players to remote displays or projectors
• Digital signage and info screens in shops, offices or public areas
• Home AV setups where the source and display are separated by long cable runs
• Installations requiring IR remote control over the extended link

Key specifications

• Maximum video resolution: 1080P at 60 Hz
• Maximum transmission distance over single Cat 6 cable: 150 meters
• IR support: IR receiver and IR transmitter supported for remote control
• Power options: Power over Ethernet (PoE) or USB-C to A power cable
• Network topology: Point-to-point extension; signal distribution via Gbit Ethernet switch to multiple receivers
• Per-receiver bandwidth consumption: approximately 18 Mbit/s

How to use

Connect the VLHDMIEXT3-T transmitter to the HDMI source and link the transmitter to the VLHDMIEXT3-R receiver using a single Cat 6 cable. Provide power to the receiver either through PoE from a compatible switch or via the supplied USB-C to A cable. If multiple displays are required, connect the transmitter to a Gbit Ethernet switch and attach several VLHDMIEXT3-R receivers to the switch. Ensure the connected display is set to accept the incoming HDMI signal and place IR receiver/transmitter units where they can reliably receive and send remote control signals.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat 6 cable and a Gbit-rated switch for multi-receiver setups; avoid mixing HDBaseT equipment because this receiver is not compatible with HDBaseT systems.
