Τρυπάνι στριφτό Bosch HSS PointTeQ 5,5 mm 10 τεμάχια

Twist Drill Bit Bosch HSS PointTeQ 5.5 mm, pack of 10, is a set of high-speed steel drill bits designed for precision drilling in metal and wood. The bits feature the PointTeQ tip geometry and a black-oxide coated flute, with a cylindrical shank suitable for drill stands and handheld drill drivers. Manufactured to DIN 338, Type N, each bit has a 135° tip to improve guidance and reduce walking during start-up.

Advantages

The PointTeQ tip enables faster drilling rates and reduces heat and wear compared with standard tips. The tip design stays sharp to maintain consistent drilling performance, while the highly elastic HSS body lowers the risk of breakage—particularly for diameters below 6 mm. Black-oxide coated flutes support efficient chip removal and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in metal (steel, non-hardened alloys)
• Drilling in wood and general-purpose materials
• Use in drill stands and handheld drill drivers

How to use

Install the 5.5 mm Bosch HSS PointTeQ drill bit into the drill chuck and secure the cylindrical shank firmly. Select an appropriate speed for the material (lower speeds for harder metals, higher for wood) and apply steady pressure without forcing the bit. Use cutting fluid when drilling metal to reduce heat and extend tool life. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips and avoid clogging the flute.

Recommendations

For best results when drilling metal, use light cutting oil and moderate speeds. For repeat or precision holes, mount the workpiece in a drill stand to improve accuracy and reduce bit deflection. Replace bits that show excessive wear or chipping to maintain hole quality.
